First Stages: Identifying the Need
The project originated from a shared sentiment within the Glasgow School of Art’s Interaction Design community. Several peers expressed a clear desire for a dedicated platform to showcase their work, feeling that the nuance and technical aspects of interactive design were often overlooked or misunderstood in broader creative contexts.
From Concept to Collaboration
The catalyst for the initiative was a close colleague's proposal to utilise the basement of the renowned ISO Design studio as a venue. This alignment of a clear community need with an evocative, unconventional physical space provided the perfect foundation to launch the exhibition

The Event: Execution & Curation
Following several months of cross-disciplinary collaboration, the exhibition was successfully realised. Despite the balancing act of managing individual professional and academic commitments, the collective of artists delivered a highly cohesive, engaging multi-sensory experience.
Spatial Curation & Themes
The exhibition was strategically divided into two distinct environments to explore its core themes:
The Interactive Gallery:
One room was dedicated to a series of participatory installations exploring the nuances and ethics of non-consensual data collection.
The Performance Space:
The adjacent room featured a dynamic audio-reactive visual performance paired with a curated DJ set.
By maintaining a unified aesthetic and thematic direction across both spaces, the event bridged critical digital commentary with an immersive, high-energy event atmosphere.
